Friday, December 04, 2009 Yesterday,

Lauren and I went up north to Katoomba to go hiking at the Blue Mountains. I lost track of how far we walked, but all i know is that I may not be able to walk properly for the next few days cause my thighs are hurting like fuuuuuccccccckkkkkkkkkkk.



Anyway, before we went hiking, we got the check out the small town and have lunch at this random celtic-looking restaurant, where there were trees and shit in the restaurant. I swear they were all either mormon or really hippy.


We had this trippy drink called "Amazon Energy" which had maté, ginseng, tons of fruit juice.. it made me stay up all the way till 1/2am!! fuck coffee and redbull man, this is the real thing.



We left soon after and trotted down to echo point to start the trek (the longest one of my life)






1000 steps down, 1000 steps up. NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN.



Today,

Erin and I hung out in the city and managed to catch "The Invention of Lying"



As much as i love Jennifer Garner and how crazily amazing she was in Alias..

.. THE MOVIE WAS A FUCKING WASTE OF MY FUCKING MONEY!!!! SEVENTEEN BUCKS WENT DOWN THE FUCKING DRAIN BALLS!

Tuesday, December 01, 2009 I'm finally in Sydney with Erin! Nearly missed my Darwin-Sydney flight because my flight itinerary said that i would land at 4.05am and depart for Sydney from Darwin at 7.15am, so i stupidly thought that i had 3 hours to spare, when actually it's 4.05am in Singapore time, and 7.15am in Darwin time (which is 1 and 1/2 hrs ahead!). So when i got up and saw the "departed" sign blinking, i was like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and ran to catch the plane. And THANK GOD!!! i caught the plane.. though i think i delayed the whole flight. oops.

Anyway, had a funny conversation with the guy at customs
"hey, how are you?"
"ok"
"so it says on your immigration card that you'll be here for a month?"
"yup"
"but it also says you're unemployed"
"..."
"how did you pay for your ticket??"
"my parents paid for me"
"... oh that's alright! it's ok it really is"
